FAQsFrequently Asked Questions
Staging
I signed a contract, when can I expect my property to be staged?
Typically, installation is scheduled five to seven business days after the contract is signed. Need sooner? A rush fee is available.
What will it cost to stage my property?
We do not have standard pricing. Pricing is based on the property’s size, number of spaces to be staged, distance from the studio, and any additional nuances.
Can I expect a quote at the walk-through?
Quotes are not available at the walk-through. We must assess the details of the property and write a proposal. Typically, a quote is provided within 24 hours of our consultation.
Do I pay all at once or can I pay in installments?
100% of the payment is due upfront at contract signing and prior to scheduling any stages or design consultations. (Ask about our Pay At Close financing option.)
I don't know how long my house will be on the market. How long is staging available and what happens if my house does not sell during that period?
We have a 60 day staging term with an option to extend at 50% of the monthly fee.
If I send you the listing photos can you provide an estimate?
We do not provide any “sight unseen” quotes from photos or listings. We need access to the property to provide an accurate estimate.
Is staged furniture available for sale?
Yes, please contact us for a quote.

I’m not in the area but need my vacation rental furnished, can I send you photos of the rooms?

How does Set the Stage find furniture? Can I pick the furniture from other vendors?
Set the Stage chooses all inventory based on in studio stock items, furnishings available to purchase through our partner vendors, and the style of the home. Custom requests will be charged accordingly.
Can I pay in installments?
100% of the payment is due upfront at contract signing and prior to scheduling design consultations.
What happens if the furniture arrives and I don't like it?
No refunds, exchanges, or credits are offered. All sales are final. See Policies and Fees section below.
